Abstract

Stock Price Index is a reflection of the economic conditions of a country when the stock price index shows an increase means that the economy is conducive and vice versa. This study aims to analyze the development of macroeconomic factors on the stock price index on the Korea Stock Exchange. The data used in this study are secondary in the form of data from quarter I-IV during the period 2014 - 2018. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of statistical software program Eviews9. The results of the study show that Exchange Rates, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Inflation, and World Gold Prices simultaneously influence the Stock Price Index on the Korea Stock Exchange with a calculated F-value (0.002159) < 0.05. T-test results show that Exchange Rates have a significant negative effect. GDP has a significant positive effect on the stock price index on the Korea Stock Exchange, then inflation and world gold prices do not have an influence on the stock price index on the Korea Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study discusses export growth and the importance of economic growth in Indonesia and Thailand from 1979 - 2018. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis to see the effect of the independent variables on the variables used. The results of this study show the facts in the f-statistics test of Indonesian exports do not have a significant influence with the direction of a negative relationship to economic growth. This concerns the significance of raw materials produced from export products not entirely from within the country and the supported products are still primary products. While imports in Indonesia, exports and imports in Thailand have a significant influence on economic growth.

Abstract

Economic growth is a matter of the economy in the long term and influenced by various factors in carrying out economic development. This study aimed to analyze the exchange rate, domestic investment, and government spending in the education sector on economic growth in Indonesia. The analytical method used in this research was the Multiple Linear Regression technique. For the purpose of analysis used secondary data from the 1999-2018 time series are used, namely Indonesian GDP data, exchange rate data, the value of domestic investment realization, and education sector government expenditure data. The data source of this research came from the official website of the Indonesian Statistics Agency, and sources from the research journal. The results showed the variables of exchange rates, domestic investment, and government spending in the education sector simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia by the coefficient value of 0.0068, 0.0068 and 0.0000.

Abstract

Labor absorption is the large number of workers absorbed or working in a business or company. Increased employment will affect wages and capital. This writing has the aim to determine the effect of wages and capital on employment. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis on cross-section data to determine the effect of independent variables with the dependent variable. The first step in conducting regression is to test through the classical assumption test, including the normality test, the multicollinearity test, the heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation test, and the statistical analysis of regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis proposed in this study, the two variables significantly influence the dependent variable. The wage variable has a significant and positive effect on labor absorption in Kendang Jimbe small and medium industries in Blitar City, capital variables have a significant and positive effect on labor absorption in Kendang Jimbe small and medium industries in Blitar City.

Abstract

One of the main indicators of the success of a development is the reduction in poverty levels. Regency on Madura Island is the region with the highest poverty rate in East Java Province. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of economic growth, education and human development index on the poverty level of districts on the island of Madura 2012-2018. In this study using quantitative research and secondary data types sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. The regression analysis used is panel data with the chosen model that is Random Effect. The results of this study indicate that: 1). Partially economic growth, education and HDI have a negative and significant influence on the poverty level of districts on the island of Madura 2012-2018 2). Simultaneously economic growth, education and HDI have an influence on district poverty levels on the island of Madura 2012-2018. In this study concluded that the economic growth variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels with a probability value of 0,0001 and a coefficient of -0.180288. The education variable that uses the average length of school has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels with a probability value of 0.0000 and a coefficient of -2.174169. The human development index variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels with a probability value of 0,0001 and a coefficient of -0.540652.
